I have the pleasure of being trained as a field environmental
scientist and as a teacher. Biology is a lifelong passion
for me. I taught my first biology class in the fall of
1979 for City Colleges of Chicago. Since 1979, I have
enjoyed teaching in public schools in Virginia, DoDDS in Europe,
and private schools in Mississippi and Virginia. I spend
summers working as an environmental scientist for environmental
companies and educational institutions. My area of
interest is carbon transformations in wetlands. My
favorite questions from students begin with the words: how, why,
or what if... |
